HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Mancino's Dining Room is NOW OPEN!!
It is the first time opening our dining room to customers since March 17, 2020, so we appreciate your patience in advance.
Our soda fountain dispenser is also be OPEN but NO refills will be allowed.
Mancino's will continue to follow strict Covid-19 guidelines and
will require customers to wear masks upon entering, ordering, waiting and exiting.
Limited seating is necessary in order to social distance safely.
Our awesome crew will do its best to disinfect all areas used after patrons leave, but we ask that customers,
as required in the past, continue to dispose of their own dine-in trash and place their dirty baskets on the receptacles near the exits.
We are so grateful for the good health of our employees with all the challenges we've faced in 2020
and continue to be thankful for our customers' patience, understanding and patronage in 2021!
**PLEASE continue to wear a mask & social distance, and
please stay home if you are at high risk or are feeling sick.**
~The Mancino’s Team~
The first "GRINDER" (a HOT, oven-baked sandwich) was brought to Northwestern Wisconsin when Mancino's Grinders & Pizza was opened on May 23, 1997 in Eau Claire by John & Samantha Biwer. They’ve been owners & operators of their business ever since. Mancino’s is not a franchise or chain, but is affiliated with a Mancino’s Licensee Association based in Michigan (although, it’s not considered a headquarters or governing body). Each Mancino’s restaurant owner makes their own decisions about all things regarding their store. No TWO Mancino’s are alike. There are about 70 other Mancino’s restaurants located throughout the Midwest.
Because the Biwer’s are directly involved with their restaurant, there are many details that are different and unique compared to restaurants which are NOT operated by owners. We consider ourselves a classic “mom & pop shop” and take pride in being locally owned and operated with no national ties to a franchise. Next time you stop by for lunch or dinner, ask for John or Sam. They’d love to meet you.
Mancino's of Eau Claire has employed over 700 High School & College students since 1997, many of whom, upon leaving, remain a part of the Mancino's "family". We take a lot of pride in the “Mancinians” we hire and treat them as family. John and Sam also play a direct role in training and orientation for new employees. Their whole family has worked at the store at some point over the past 22 years.
The Biwer’s have always given back to a variety of charities and organizations in the Chippewa Valley through providing free coupons and food giveaways/donations. The UCP, United Way, Eau Claire Children’s Museum, EC YMCA, Eau Claire United Soccer, ECASD Athletics, UWEC Athletics, Trinity Equestrian Center, Boys & Girls Club, all area high schools’ All-Night Graduation Parties, L.E. Phillips Public Library, Lion’s Club, Kiwanis, HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital Employee Philanthropy, Chippewa Valley Free Clinic, Sojourner’s House, The Beacon House, Bolton Refuge House, Phillips Senior Center, Eau Claire Flying Eagles Ski Club and many, many more...just to name a few.
Mancino's has had perfect or near-perfect scores on inspections from the Eau Claire City County Health Department and is a member of the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce, Wisconsin Restaurant Association & the Mancino's Licensee Association.
