The first "GRINDER" (a HOT, oven-baked sandwich) was brought to Northwestern Wisconsin when Mancino's Grinders & Pizza was opened on May 23, 1997 in Eau Claire. Mancino's is locally owned and operated and is not a franchise or chain in the traditional sense of the word. 

At Mancino's, there are many details that are different and unique compared to restaurants which are not operated by owners. We consider ourselves a classic “mom & pop shop” and take pride in being locally owned and operated with no national ties to a franchise. Next time you stop by for lunch or dinner, meet the owners...ask for John, Sam or Dani. They’d love to meet you.

Mancino's of Eau Claire has employed over 800 High School & College students since 1997, many of whom, upon leaving, remain a part of the Mancino's "family". We take a lot of pride in the “Mancinians” we hire and treat them as family. John, Sam & Dani also play a direct role in training and orientation for new employees.  Their whole family has worked at the store at some point over the past 27 years.

Mancino's Grinders & Pizza has always given back to a variety of charities and organizations in the Chippewa Valley through providing free coupons, food giveaways & donations. The UCP, United Way, Eau Claire Children’s Museum, EC YMCA, Eau Claire United Soccer, ECASD Athletics, UWEC Athletics, Trinity Equestrian Center, Boys & Girls Club, all area high schools’ All-Night Graduation Parties, L.E. Phillips Public Library, Lion’s Club, Kiwanis, HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital Employee Philanthropy, Chippewa Valley Free Clinic, Sojourner’s House, The Beacon House, Bolton Refuge House, Phillips Senior Center, Eau Claire Flying Eagles Ski Club and many, many more...just to name a few.  

Mancino's has had perfect or near-perfect scores on all inspections from the Eau Claire City County Health Department and has been a member of the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce, Wisconsin Restaurant Association & the Mancino's Licensee Association. Mancino's has been in the top three for the Volume One's "Best of the Chippewa Valley" for Best Sandwich Shop & Best Quick Lunch for many years and also for the Leader Telegram's Reader's Choice Awards.

Mancino's is open 6 days a week: Sunday & Monday and Wednesday-Saturday. CLOSED on TUESDAYS.
